About the Seventh-day Adventist Church
The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a protestant Christian organisation with over 15 million members and is active in over 200 countries through its churches, schools, universities, hospitals and publishing houses.
It is founded upon 28 core beliefs central to which is the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Saviour and the Bible as the word of God. The name Seventh-day Adventist highlights our acceptance of God’s fourth commandment which requires us to keep the seventh day Sabbath as a day of rest and our belief in Jesus’ future return.
