In the beginning, God created the earth and he also created man, and he is proud of what he has created and therefore acts towards us like a good father. Like any good father, he is full of love for his children and only wants the best for us. God is merciful, gracious and slow to anger and we can rely on him for all our needs in life.
God the Son
God the son became Jesus the Christ when he came down to earth to live as a man. As Jesus, God the son experienced the same as all humans do living on this earth, he laughed, cried, got angry and felt pain as we do. He lived and experienced the temptations as we do today, however he never sinned and this is the example we have to follow today. All the miracles of healing that were performed while he was alive were due to the relationship he had with his father who was in heaven. God the son came down to earth as a Jesus the Christ (human) to die (voluntarily) on a cross therefore releasing human kind from a death sentence that was pronounced on man when Adam first sinned against God.
