Devon and the Soda Pops

Devon a lively four year old who loved Soda Pops, Now soda pops are just like the fizzy drinks we have here. The only difference is that these soda pops came in glass bottles instead if plastic bottles like We have in asda, tescos or sainsburys.

One day Devon's Parents brought home a big box of sodas and Devon was really excited because he thought that he would have soda all the time. Fortunately for Devon, his parents knew better and wanted him to have really nice teeth so they limited the amount of sugar he could have. Devon's parents knew that He might try to find the box so they hid the box in the basement where they knew he would never find it.

Devon knew they had hidden the drinks and he was determined to find it so he searched every room, under every bed but he just could not find it. Suddenly a bright idea popped into his head, what if the drinks were in the basement? He tipped toed quietly so that mummy could not hear him opened the basement door and as soon as he peeked inside, can you guess what he saw?. He saw the Soda Pops. Devon immediately grabbed one but as soon as he did so, he heard his mummy calling his name. Devon was so frightened that as he was running away to hide, he slipped and fell with the bottle in his hand. Well something terrible happened because the bottle broke and a shard of glass got stuck in his finger. Luckily for Devon the Doctor lived close by. Devon's Mummy took him to the Doctor where he received five stitches in his finger. Devon learned a very important lesson that day. can you guess what that was?. You are right.. Being greedy can get you into allot of trouble.
