The Story of Creation

Have you ever wondered how everything began? Well the story can be found in the book of Genesis in the Bible. Now the story starts of with the earth as we know it being very dark, absolutely nothing, in fact the bible uses the word void. And while God was going over the surface of the planet, He  commanded that light should be in existence so there was light and then he separated the light from the darkness, the light we now know as day and the darkness, you guessed it night and both of them together made up a day.

Now on the second day, God decided that he would create a space between the waters and this space we now know as the Sky.  On the third day God decided to do was to separate the waters so that areas of dry ground could be seen, the waters, he called seas and the dry ground he called land. And then he commanded that the dry land should have every kind of grass and plants that bore seeds, like tomatoes and grapes as well as trees that grew fruits with seeds such as apples, peaches and all those delicious fruits that we like. God decided to do this so that the seeds of both the plants and trees would produce even more trees and God thought it was very good.

The next day, the fourth day commanded that bright lights appear in the Sky to separate the night from the day, so two great lights came into being, the sun, to rule during the day and the moon He also made the stars and together these lights would light the earth. God saw that it was good.

On the fifth today, God created fish and other water animals for the water. He also created birds of every variety for the sky. On the sixth day, God created the animals, all kinds of wild animals, big and small then He said let us make people who look like us and they will be the masters over all life, the fish in the sea, the birds, all the animals small and big. So God created a man and a woman and he blessed them and told them to multiply and be masters over the earth. He also told them that he had given them the plants and tress and food, and he saw that everything he made was perfect and on the seventh-day he rested.
