Another year has come and gone,
It seems as if it was not so long.
The time, the days, the week and the months,
Oh dear! Where has the year gone?

The year will begin with lots of resolutions,
What not to eat, to do and so on.
But wherever you turn and wherever you go,
There are so many temptations.

As the days go by into weeks and months,
Its funny how we forget those resolutions.
Old habits they might be,
However, Jesus can set them free.

Give them to Him, however big or small.
You will be amazed with much prayer and faith,
What Jesus can do.
All things you thought were impossible,
God has brought you through.

So this New Year as you make your vows,
Just pray, trust and believe,
And God will work it all out.
