On one occasion, my younger brother and I took a lift from someone who claimed to know my brother and me. He was to take us to our aunt’s house; however, on nearing the house, he began to drive faster. My brother and I banged and shouted many times telling the man to stop.
As he refused to stop, my brother jumped off and kept running to break the speed, he told me afterwards. Now it was my time to jump off! the man was still driving at high speed. I was afraid to jump and I was still only 9 years old. Eventually I jumped and fell on my spine. Though quite painful, I had to crawl on my hands and my knees out of the road.
Thankfully there was no other vehicle about at the time. I learnt long after that my spine was fractured and because it was not seen at the time of the fracture, it healed in a curved way. God was right there to help me, he can help you too, just ask
